In addition to the standard scenario with semester-based course rooms for courses from RWTHonline, there are further usage scenarios for course rooms like bridge courses or forums for Ph.D. students that are not represented in RWTHonline. For these cases, the RWTHmoodle administration can also create course rooms directly in RWTHmoodle. These course rooms do not have a connection to RWTHonline and are semester-independent. To apply for such a course room please send the following information to the IT-ServiceDesk:

• Title of the course room
• purpose of the course room (brief description)
• First name, last name and email address of the desired managers

The purpose should have a connection to teaching. Whenmanagingparticipantsinthese course rooms, careshouldbetakentoensurethatindividualswhoarenolongerparticipatinginthecourseareremovedfromthe course room atregularintervals.
