information

This course template offers a consistent basic structure with central areas for orientation, communication & support, learning content, exam information, FAQs, and feedback. It does not contain pre-configured Moodle activities but provides customizable template components for recurring elements of the course space. It is therefore particularly suitable for instructors who wish to largely design their course space themselves based on a predefined structure.

This course template uses the One-Topic format, in which each course section is displayed on its own page. Individual sections can be accessed directly via tabs at the top of the course space. This allows students to switch between specific course sections without having to scroll through a long course page.

If you prefer a layout where all course sections and subsections are displayed sequentially on a single course page, the basic course template is also available in the Topics format. The structure and prepared elements are identical in both formats; they differ only in the display and navigation of the course areas. In the Topics format, individual sections can be expanded or collapsed so that only the relevant content is displayed as needed.

If you also wish to use additional prepared elements and pre-configured Moodle activities, the Extended course template is available. This is based on the same basic structure but includes additional template components and pre-configured Moodle activities that can be adopted, customized, or removed as required. The Extended course template is also available in both the Topics format and the One-Topic format.
