Change of the Software Shop
Please note that the asknet shop will be discontinued on March 25, 2024 and will be replaced by an interim solution from SoftwareOne with their AcadCloud.
Solution with two accesses:
- For employees: for using the software in RWTH facilities
- Students: for use by students during their studies
Orders:
- Only possible with the corresponding authorization/status:
- Shop for employees: Products can be ordered in the shop with the role "Bestellung IT".
- Each organizational unit continues to regulate the use of the software shop independently by assigning the role to one or more employees via the role management.
- Now a PSP element must be entered in the order & payment process. The rebooking is carried out via the IT Center. No PSP element is required for students.
- Shop for students: The respective software products can be ordered with the status "Student".
- Shop for employees: Products can be ordered in the shop with the role "Bestellung IT".
Insight:
- All members of RWTH can view the offered products in both shops.
Login:
- is done via the RWTH Single Sign-On
- Username (format: ab123456) and password for the RWTH Single Sign-On Account
