Guide to the Self-Management of Adobe Users by IT-Procurement Personnel.

This Overview shows your orders and their respective order numbers.
The Overview of all licences („Übersicht aller Lizenzen“ in German) is an overview of all your purchased licences, which shows whether the licences are already assigned or still available for use.
Shared Device Licences have no assignment limits, as they are not bound to specific users.
- In this overview, you can set up new users.
- Should a specific product not show up in this overview, you currently have no available licences for that product.
By clicking on Assign Licence ("Lizenz zuweisen" if the page is in German), you may set up a new user.
After clicking on that button, a new window will pop up. Please enter the first and last name, as well as the primary e-mail-address for the new user. The e-mail-adress must end with the "rwth-aachen.de" suffix. After hitting confirm, the user will be entered in the system and receive an information message via e-mail
The Overview of Assigned Licences („Übersicht der zugewiesenen Lizenzen“ if the page is in German) shows all licences assigned to your institute. Using the filter function, you can search for specific products and licence types and check to whom those licences are currently assigned.

- Named User License- ETLA rental licence until 22.11.2022 for Creative Cloud Allapps pro
- Shared Device License-ETLA rental licence until 22.11.2022 for Creative Cloud Allapps pro
Please note tha there is only one named user licence for Adobe Acrobat pro DC.
The overview of assigned users ("Übersicht eingetragenen Nutzenden“ if the page is in german) can also be used to withdraw named user licences.
Click on the green plus icon next to the table entry. The following window will open.
Note that shared device licences can not be withdrawn, in this case the user must be deleted entirely (see Point 6)
Click on withdraw licence. As soon as you do, the product should show up in the overview of available licences, and is ready to be assigned to a new user.
This overview allows you to delete user profiles completely, as well as changing users first or last names. Should a users e-mail-address need to be changed, please contact the IT-ServiceDesk, making sure to include the name and new address of the user in question in your message.
The search field allows you to find specific users. You can also see to which IKZ the users belong, and which licences were assigned to them.
