The simulation software Dymola facilitates the analysis of dynamic multiphysical systems (e.g. hydraulics, electronics, mechanics, control engineering etc.) in a simulation environment and is also integrated into Catia. Catia models can be extended with it to dynamic, virtual prototypes. A mechanic design can be analysed considering its active subsystems, thus enabling the designing engineer to access all relevant parameter of the design. These parameters are e.g. pressure and volume flow in hydraulics, current and voltage for electronic components and natural force and displacement for mechanic components.
