What is Citavi?
Citavi is a reference management and knowledge organization software developed by Swiss Academic Software (Zurich). Citavi has been part of the Lumivero product family since 2022.
Citavi Free is free for all users, but is limited to projects with up to 100 titles. Citavi Team is free for all students, lecturers and staff as part of the campus license agreement.
The following functions are integrated:

• Search in over 4000 databases and library catalogs
• Automatic entry of books via ISSN
• Automatic entry of specialist articles via DOI
• Automatic generation of bibliographies based on around 800 citation styles
• Preview for PDFs, images, texts and multimedia files
• Set comments, citations and notes and organize knowledge"
