The software shop allows RWTH Aachen University institutions to electronically order software for which the IT Center has concluded central contracts.

This procurement process and the bundling of licenses support and facilitate the administrative processes of RWTH Aachen University and optimize license costs.

At the end of 2023, RWTH Aachen University put out a tender for a new software shop, which will be launched with basic functions at the end of March and whose functionality will be expanded by the end of 2024. This is a transitional solution with limited functionalities.
