Shared Device licences (SDL)
"Shared Device Licenses (SDL) are device-based licenses, i.e. one license per device is needed. Shared Device Licenses may only be used in classrooms, e.g. in labs or pools. Please note that every user should log in on every respective device. Devices with Shared Device Licenses are not applicable for home use. Shared Device Licenses are abbreviated as SDL and transated into German as "Multi-User Gerätelizenzen"". [1]
It is not allowed to install SDL on private devices. That means that "Home Use" and "Bring your own device" are not allowed while using these licenses.
SDL can be used offline several hours only.
