Job restrictions
This page describes existing restrictions for job submissions.
Project submission restriction
Each user has access to a default project that is only able to use the Claix 2023 partitions. To submit to any other Claix 2025+ partition, a project account is needed. The following table provides a restriction overview:

GPU job restrictions on maximum memory and cpu's
Jobs requesting one GPU are limited (wird in neuem Tab geöffnet) to a proportional amount of CPUs and Memory within the node. To use more CPU/Memory per GPU requires requesting more GPUs.
Requesting an entire GPU node’s memory or all CPUs, but only a single GPU is no longer possible.
Each GPU within a GPU node has a corresponding strict maximum of CPUs and Memory that can be requested.
To obtain more than the strict maximum of CPUs or Memory per GPU, more GPUs will need to be requested too.
