This article is meant for managers (i.e. person of contact, PC) of compute projects. The article describes how to
- add additional (external) project members and

Prerequisites:
- you need to be person of contact (PC) of an active computing project
- Your RegApp account needs to be linked with your JARDS1 account. To make sure use SSO to log in to JARDS at least once!

- FAQ → Can I log in into JARDS for NHR using my home organization access (e.g. SSO or ORCID)?
Step 1
log into RWTH RegApp and select Projects → My Projects in the dash board.
Step 2
Select the project you want to manage. If the project list is empty your RegApp account might not be connected to your JARDS account yet. (See prerequisites).
Step 3
Click the button Invite members.
Step 4
Fill in the form with the name and e-mail address of the additional (external) project member and click on the button SEND INVITATION. If the invitee does not have an HPC Account yet, they will receive an e-mail with a coupon which allows them to set up their HPC Account.
IMPORTANT: If you are an external member yourself you might want to add yourself to the project here, so that you can set up your own HPC account.
Step 5
The invitee can now proceed to Setup the HPC Account with RegApp
Step 6
Once the HPC Account is available, the user can be added to the UNIX group of the project, allowing them to access the project directories and submit jobs to SLURM.
