Notes on VMAP

With the release of VMware Player 7, using this program for university purposes is only allowed for participants in the VMware Academic Program (VMAP). The participation agreement was made for the entire university. To reduce the cost of this agreement, a respective item was added to the RWTH Software Shop

In order to continue using VMware Player, you need to purchase the product "VMware Player" in the Software Shop. This allows you to install the program on any number of devices within your institution for the current licensing period.

The purchase will include a download link and a serial number for the installation of VMware Player.
