What is NX?

NX, formerly known as "Unigraphics", is an interactive CAD/CAM/CAE software for design and manufacturing processes, from industrial design, development, engineering, simulation, analysis and optimization to production planning, using the generated digital product data. The software can be used to program, simulate and combine part manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, robotics, 3D printing and quality inspection.

Licenses and Usage

Both student and institute licenses are offered by RWTH. The student licenses may be used by students for teaching purposes. The use of these licenses for research or commercial purposes is not permitted.
