This page describes how to deactivate the MATLAB Copilot licenses.

The MATLAB Copilot licenses are automatically installed in the new versions of the standalone licenses. We recommend that all employees do not use them and actively deactivate them.

To do so, please follow the steps below.

Step 1
Log in to MATLAB with your single user license.

Step 2
Go to Settings.

Step 3
Choose MATLAB Copilot. You should see the following window:

Remove the checkbox „Enable MATLAB Copilot“ and choose Disabled as "Copilot autocompletions mode:".

Step 5
Click Apply to confirm the action.

You have successfully deactivated the MATLAM Copilot.
