In the following instructions, we will explain how to start the restore process for a file server in the Commvault environment.


  1. Log in to the Commvault Command Center at: with <>.

  2. In the file server view, search for the appropriate file server.

  3. For the client you want to restore, click the button in the Action column, and then select "Restore". 

  4. Select the data for which you want to perform a restore.

  5. Specify the destination location.

  • To restore the backup to the original location, select "Restore to original folder".

  • To restore to a new location, you must specify the full path of the destination folder. 


Now the restore of your data will start.
