The use of Microsoft 365 is possible to a limited extent during a limited transition phase and under certain conditions.

• Time limit until April 30, 2025 (end of the term of the current framework agreement)
• Limited scope: Office Web Apps, OneDrive, SharePoint online
• Conditions for participation: Employees who have previously used the "old" RWTH Tenant for business purposes and require an alternative solution for this purpose

In order to get to know the usage scenarios better and gain a better assessment of requirements, participants must communicate their requirements in advance and have them confirmed by the facility management before the license can be activated. The approval process is as follows:

• The requirement (type of data stored, usage scenario) is reported to the IT Center via the following form.
• The form must be signed (digitally) by both the applicant and the facility management and then forwarded to servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de.
• The IT Center checks that the scenario complies with the applicable terms of use and agreed restrictions; if the scenario complies, it is approved.
• After approval, the IT Center issues the license to the applicant

During the transition phase, the previously agreed terms of use will continue to apply.
