Hybrid-Calendar-Connector

information

This page describes what the Webex Hybrid-Calendar-Connector is and how you can use it.

Requirements

To be able to use the Calendar Connector, the Webex Meetings Organizer and Webex Hybrid Exchange Calendar Service options must be enabled in the TK-Portal.

If you are unable to enable the Webex Hybrid Exchange Calendar Service, please contact your institute's administration.
To create a Webex meeting via a calendar app, the calendar must be connected via Microsoft Exchange.

Meeting Creation Options

We recommend creating meetings via the Webex app. However, the Hybrid Calendar Connector also offers the following option for creating a meeting.
Create a meeting via a calendar app (e.g. Outlook):

  • To create a meeting, use @webex in the Location field.

As soon as a meeting invitation is sent with @webex, it takes about a minute for the meeting to be automatically filled with the meeting information.
Both the access information and a meeting link are created.

In addition, the created meeting is synchronized in the Webex app. There you have the option to edit the meeting settings in the Meetings menu item.
