Depending on your status in the Identity Management, names and titles are sourced from the respective source system and are selected according to the following order:
- Employees of RWTH (Human Resources Department RWTH)
- Members of UKA/FB10 (Human Resources Department UKA)
- External lecturers (RON:ELK) and retired professors(RON: ELK, UP i.R., LBP, EP (Human Resources Department, Department 1.5)
- Scholarship holders at RWTH Aachen University (Human Resources Department RWTH)
- Students at RWTH (Central Examination Office (ZPA))
For example, for external lecturers who are also RWTH employees, names and titles will be taken exclusively from the Human Resources Department's data record.
You can find out which of these groups you belong to in IdM Selfservice under RWTH Data.
The following page describes how you can have your data corrected in the Identity Management. This varies depending on the data source.
Person groups other than those mentioned can change their titles in the IdM Selfservice (Personal Data).

Contact the Organization Administrator of your institution. The administrator can make corrections in the RWTH People Directory.

You can upload you profile image in RWTHcontacts using the PictureManager.

Information on consultation hours and other additional details can be added in the PVZ as comments.
This can be done when editing the display. Instructions can be found here.
To make the adjustments, you need the role "Verwaltung Organisation" (Administration Organization). Please contact a person with the role "Verwaltung Organisation" (Administration Organization) at your institution or contact the Role Management.

Contact the Organization Administrator of your institution. The administrator can make changes to the room address in the RWTH People Directory.

Employees appear on RWTHcontacts under “Further Staff” if they have not been assigned to any other existing heading in the People Directory.
To change this, the employees must be assigned to a caption. Once all employees have been assigned to a caption, the caption “Further Staff” disappears.
To make these adjustments, you need the role "Verwaltung Organisation" (Administration Organization). Please contact a person with the role "Verwaltung Organisation" (Administration Organization) at your institution or contact the Role Management.

Some applications obtain data such as email addresses and organizational affiliation from RWTHcontacts.
If you are listed under several organizations in RWTHcontacts, this data is obtained from one of these entries. The organization from which this entry originates is your primary organization.
You can select your primary organization via the SelfCare area in the RWTH People Directory.
