What is RWTHcontacts?

RWTHcontacts is the central directory of organizations and persons at RWTH. The data comes, among other sources, from the RWTH Persons Directory and the RWTH Organizations Directory.

• In the RWTH Organizations Directory, the functional addresses and contacts of the organizations are maintained.
• In the RWTH Persons Directory, the contact details and organizational affiliations of members of RWTH are maintained. In the SelfCare section of the RWTH Persons Directory, persons who are affiliated with multiple organizations can adjust the order of their organizations and select the primary organization.

Who is allowed to access RWTHcontacts?

RWTHcontacts is available to all users with read-only access.

Access to the RWTH Organizations Directory and the RWTH Persons Directory is only possible for persons with the role Organization Administration. The role is assigned by the institution’s role management.

Access to the SelfCare section of the RWTH Persons Directory is possible for persons with at least one organizational affiliation.

How can RWTHcontacts be accessed?

Access to RWTHcontacts is possible without logging in.

To access the RWTH Organizations Directory and the RWTH Persons Directory, it is necessary to log in via RWTH Single Sign-On.

For access to the RWTH Organizations Directory and full access to the RWTH Persons Directory, the role Organization Administration is also required.
