RWTHcontacts is a service that provides access to the leading directory for organizations and people at RWTH Aachen University.

Department 5.0 of the Central University Administration and the IT Center have cooperated to consolidate data about organizations in a central database that is independent of any specialized applications. This fundamental modernization of organizational and personal data management is pursuant to the goal of providing adequate support to all digital processes. 

The service consists of three components:

• RWTHcontacts: Display of organizations and people (already available)
• RWTH organization directory maintenance of organization data (already available)
• RWTH directory of persons maintenance of staff data (available soon)
