How do I get access to the RWTH Person Directory?
The RWTH People Directory is a sub-service of RWTHcontacts from which all relevant data of the employees are synchronised with RWTHcontacts.
The login to the RWTH People Directory is realized via RWTH Single Sign-On. After the login, you can access the following areas depending on the requirements met:
SelfCare area
Persons with at least one organizational affiliation can access the SelfCare area of the RWTH People Directory.
On the home page, you can select the components of the SelfCare area:
- About Me
- My Organization Memberships
Organization area
The owners of the role "Verwaltung Organisation"" see the area selection after logging in to the RWTH People Directory and can switch between the SelfCare and the Organization area.
Organization administrators can assign all people belonging to their organization to the organization and then maintain the official addresses and contact details of the people at their organization. If a person is assigned to an organization in the RWTH Person Directory, a connection between RWTHcontacts (PVZ Person Directory) and Identity Management will be established within the next 40 minutes.
On the home page, you can select the components of the organization area:
- people
- objects
- display
Use the button in the header of the page to open the area selection window and to either switch to the SelfCare area or to choose another organization you have a role "Verwaltung Organisation" in.
