Kommerzielle Webhosting-Dienstleister
Mit der Abkündigung des Webhosting Services der FH Aachen müssen Webseiten, die nicht im zentralen CMS der RWTH gehostet werden können, künftig bei externen Anbietern gehostet werden. Um den Umstieg zu erleichtern und Nutzenden eine Orientierung bei der Auswahl eines Anbieters zu geben, hat das IT Center einige Anbieter überprüft. Dabei wurde insbesondere auf die folgenden Kriterien geachtet:
- DSGVO-konformes Hosting
- Vorrangig deutsche Serverstandorte
- Akzeptanz des AV-Vertrags der RWTH durch den Anbieter
oder - Prüfung des AV-Vertrags durch die RWTH
- Verschiedene technische Aspekte
Eine Zusammenstellung der Kriterien sowie der Ergebnisse für die verschiedenen Anbieter sind in folgender Tabelle zusammengefasst (Stand Februar 2026).
