Token Reset

Token Reset

When you initially set up tokens, you were asked to create and download a TAN list (one-time security codes). If you still have access to this list, you can use one of the one-time security codes to access the Token Manager in IdM Selfservice.

If you can no longer access the Token Manager, you must first contact the IT-ServiceDesk in person and authenticate yourself with a valid ID document.

Have the token reset:

  1. Verification of an ID document by an employee of the IT ServiceDesk.
  2. Receive a TAN list with a one-time TAN for logging into the Token Manager via the selfservice.
  3. Independent creation of new tokens.

Important: Only use the TAN list received from the IT-ServiceDesk to log in to the Token Manager, as the TAN is only valid once.
