• RWTH Single Sign-On (Tokenmanager): Multifactor authentication (MFA) is created in IdM Selfservice.
  • Hardware Token (HOTP)
  • Hardware Token (WebAuthn.FIDo2)
  • Authenticator App (TOTP)
  • SMS codes or e-mail codes
  • TAN list (one-time security codes) → only serves as backup

• VPN: Multifactor authentication (MFA) is created in IdM Selfservice.

  • Tan list (one-time security code) → only used as a backup

Token Management via the service

• M365: Multifactor authentication (MFA) is created in the M365 account.

• Sciebo: Multifactor authentication (MFA) is created in the Sciebo account. 
  • Authenticator App (TOTP)

• GitLab: Multifactor authentication (MFA) is created in the GitLab account.

Token Management via RegApp

• HPC: Multifactor authentication (MFA is created in the RegApp.
  • Authenticator App (TOTP)
  • Tan list (one-time security codes) → only used as a backup
