With the DigitalArchive service, the IT Center offers all employees the option of storing specific data sets that are not research data on a long-term basis. Research data can also be archived via the Coscine integration platform, among other things.

Data from administration, teaching and other data can be archived on an object storage infrastructure via a suitable S3 client. Access is web-based via the SeviRe portal.

Employees or administrators of an institution have complete control and responsibility over the archived data sets. Access authorizations can also be managed via the SeviRe portal.

The DigitalArchive is used for the secure and long-term storage of university data outside of research contexts.
