On this page you will learn how to install and set up WinSCP.

Step 1
Download the software from the WinSCP download page

Double-click on the file you just downloaded to start the software

The following window opens:

Use WebDAV as File Protocol and choose webhosting-upload.rwth-aachen.de as host name. Set TLS/SSL as encryption and type in username and password:

Click on Advanced... and type in the path to your webspace as remote directory (also retrievable via webhosting portal):

• periods should be replaced with a hypen, e.g. it.center should be replaced by it-center:

Accept the settings with OK and start the session with Login.
