Kurzinformation

RWTH accounts lose the right to access RWTHonline at the end of employment or 180 days after exmatriculation. Therefore, individuals who were previously employed or enrolled at RWTH must reactivate their account in order to apply.

You can reactivate your account by following these steps:

  1. Start the registration process for applicants on the RWTHonline homepage
  2. You will receive an e-mail with the title "Registrierung in RWTHonline" (Registration on RWTHonline)
  3. This e-mail will inform you that you already own an account. It is referring to your previous account that you used as a student or employee of RWTH. The e-mail will describe the necessary steps for reactivating your account. Please use the support form to make an enquiry with the category "access to RWTHonline" and include:
    • your date of birth
    • your full name
    • the registration code from the e-mail
    • the e-mail address which you wish to use for correspondence during the application process

You will subsequently recieve login credentials for a temporary applicant account, which you can use to log in via the Login for applicants.

Note:

The temporary account is already connected to your former Single Sign-On account. After a successful enrollment, this account will be reactivated. Once this has happened, you can use your old Single Sign-On account to log in to the IT services of the university.
