How to order webspace

As a person with the role Bestellung IT, you can request websites and blogs for your institution from the IT-ServiceDesk via email. Please include "[Webhosting] or "[RWTHblog]" in the subject of your email. 

How to order websites in corporate design

Central websites in corporate desgin are ordered at the ZHV Helpdesk

The following information is needed to process the order:

• Desired URL (URLs below .rwth-aachen.de are free of charge)
• Institution and Institutskennziffer (IKZ)
• Email address, phone number of at least 2 contact persons
• Purpose of the website

The processing time is about 5 to 10 working days.

How to order webspace for Uniklinik RWTH Aachen

Areas of teaching and research of Uniklinik RWTH Aachen (Faculty 10), like any other RWTH institute, can order webspace at the IT Center. The clinics get support for their websites by the IT department of Uniklinik RWTH Aachen.

Recognized student associations can contact the IT-ServiceDesk in order to apply for the service.

How to manage webspace

Persons with the role "Bestellung IT" or contact persons can manage the webspace of their institute via the webhosting portal.

Among other options, it is possible to apply for a database connected to the webspace.

How to maintain content

The web space is accessed via Web-DAV.

Webspace databases can be maintained via phpMyAdmin.
