If you receive an e-mail stating that you are not able to register on RWTHonline this is due to your personal data already being associated with an account in the system. There are three possible scenarios:
- You already have access to RWTHonline via an applicant account.
You can have your username and a password reset sent to the e-mail address that you registered for the account. If you no longer have access to this e-mail address or the recovery fails for other reasons, please use the support form to make an enquiry with the category "Access to RWTHonline". Please include:
- your full name
- your date of birth
- your username (if known)
- You already have a RWTH Single Sign-On account.
If you are currently enrolled at or employed by RWTH Aachen University, you will already have a RWTH Single Sign-On account. Please use this account for the application process.
If you have previously worked or studied at RWTH, or received an offer to study Dentistry/Medicine, you will already have a RWTH Single Sign-On account which can be reactivated. In order to do this, start the normal registration process for applicants on the RWTHonline homepage. You will subsequently receive an e-mail with a registration code. To reactivate your account, you must use the support form to make an enquiry with the category "Access to RWTHonline". Please include:
- the registration code
- your full name
- your date of birth
- the e-mail address that you wish to use throughout the application process

First-time enrollees
After you have received your confirmation of enrollment, your personal ConnectMe coupon is usually sent the following day in an e-mail with the Subject "Welcome to the RWTH University".
If you still have not received a coupon on the following day, please use the support form with the category "Access to RWTHonline".
Re-enrollees
If you were previously enrolled at the RWTH University, a ConnectMe coupon will not be generated or sent to you. Your former RWTH account is automatically re-activated, and you can access the RWTH services with your former RWTH login credentials once you are enrolled.
If you have forgotten your RWTH login credentials, you can have them sent to your contact e-mail address by using the password reset app:
https://rwth-aachen.de/passwordReset/
If you no longer have access to your contact e-mail address or cannot recover your access credentials for other reasons, please contact the IT-ServiceDesk.
Employees
