How to Access GigaMove

Information

This page explains how to access GigaMove.

Authentication in GigaMove is done via Shibboleth. RWTH members log in using RWTH Single Sign-On.

Please use a current web browser that supports HTTPS. Additionally, the following certificates should be recognized by the browser:

  • RWTH CA certificate
  • DFN-PKI CA certificate
  • Telekom CA root certificate

Note for external users of RWTH:

1. For successful authentication, your institution must transmit the following attributes to GigaMove via Shibboleth:

  • one of the following identifiers: pairwise-id, persistent-id, or eduPersonTargetedID
  • givenName
  • surname
  • email

2. Ports 9020 and 9021 (TCP/HTTPS) must be opened in your institution's firewall for obst-gigamove.s3.fds.rwth-aachen.de.
