FAQ - Printing Service
Currently, the printing service is only available to employees of institutes resp. chairs, or affiliated institutes of the RWTH. Thus, students are only able to apply for an authorization when working for an institute. The institute is then obliged to cover the incurred costs. Student organizations (e.g. ASTA, student associations, etc.) can use the service and will receive an invoice for the printing costs incurred.

Unfortunately, this is not possible since we require a signed receipt confirming that the printouts were actually delivered.

No, you can also assign another person to collect the printouts. However, they have to bring your order number and confirm the collection of the printouts.

If the errors are to blame on the person who created the print job (e.g. spelling or layout errors), the printouts will be charged.

If possible, this should already be done in the application software. In exceptional cases, you can commission a scaling after consultation with our staff (phone 80-24903).
