On this page you will learn about the access requirements for sciebo.

In order to use sciebo, a certain status is required in the Identity Management of RWTH. The authorized group of persons currently includes:

RWTH Aachen University members can register online (opens in new tab) to use the service.

• RWTH employees
• RWTH students (incl. scholarship holders)
• Members of the faculty 10
• Members of the TU9 (TU9 - German Universities of Technology (opens in new tab))
• Members of the International Academy (opens in new tab)
• Emeriti (retired professor)
• External teaching staff

Step 1
If you have one of the statuses listed above, you are a member of RWTH and can register online to use the service.

Step 2
After registering, you will receive your own sciebo username in the format XXXXXX@rwth-aachen.de. You can retrieve your username at any time via the registration page (opens in new tab).

Step 3
Go to the login page (opens in new tab) and log in using RWTH Single Sign-On.

Step 4
You can access the sciebo account management at my.sciebo (opens in new tab). There, you can also reset your password and manage guests and project boxes.
