sciebo
What is sciebo?
sciebo is the cloud service of the NRW universities.
sciebo enables
- automatic synchronization of data with different end devices, for example PC and smartphone.
- different users to work together on the same documents.
- 30 gigabytes of free storage space, and significantly more for research projects as needed.
The participating universities operate sciebo on their own. The data is processed exclusively at three universities in NRW, namely in Münster, as well as in Bonn and Duisburg-Essen. The fact that sciebo is based in NRW means that the German Data Protection Act applies - one of the strictest in the world.
