What is the ticket portal?
Since 2011 the IT Center uses an IT-Servicemanagement-Tool to work on your requests. These requests are called tickets and are characterized by a unique ticket number.
To increase transparency for users, the IT Center offers a web interface to the ticket tool: the ticket portal. The portal allows you to send and reply to requests. It also gives you an overview of your requests and their status.
Who can use the ticket portal?
The following groups of people can use the Ticket Portal:
- Students
- RWTH employees with an entry in the RWTH Person Directory
- persons with the Role Angehörige Organisationseinheit
- Senior and visiting students
- UKA employees / FB10
- Scholarship holders
- External teaching staff
- Employees of Forschungszentrum Jülich (FZJ)
- Participants in the "Good start to your studies" project
- Affiliated institutes
- Chief physicians of the teaching hospitals
- Language Center
- Emeriti (retired professors)
- RWTHPublications
- Employees of the fire department
- External users of the university library (city users)
How to use the ticket portal
To access the Ticket Portal, please set up your account first.
Then your can login to the ticket portal.
- The username is your username (in the format ab123456).
- The password can be set in the IdM Selfservice under the Service/Account IT Center Ticketportal
