The following scanner work stations are available for scanning images, films and texts:

• suitable for 24x36 mm slides resp negative films or APS films
• stripfilm adapter and slide magazine for batch processing of slides and negatives
• 4000 dpi optical resolution, 48 bit color depth

 Epson Scanner EPSON Expression 1640 XL A3 Scanner

• scanner work station EPSON Expression 1640 XL suitable for items up to DIN A 3 and any film format
• 1600x3200 optical resolution, 48 bit color depth
• transparency unit

General Notes

• The scanner work stations can be used by employees and students of the RWTH Aachen University.
• The scanner work stations are located in the printing service department in the 1st floor of the IT Center (Seffenter Weg 23 Raum 1.41).
• Attended hours: Monday - Friday: 9 am to 1 pm (operating instructions by student assistants only after prior arrangement by phone)
• Please call 80-24903 and reserve the desired scanner work station.
• CD/DVD burners are provided for saving your data (you have to bring your own CD blanks or USB stick).
