TeamViewer enables remote control of desktops and laptops and can be used for support cases that are difficult to solve without visual support.

The IT-ServiceDesk uses the tool "IT-ServiceDesk QuickSupport" for this purpose. The advantage of QuickSupport is that you do not need to install it and can use it after the download directly.

To use QuickSupport, please carry out the following steps.

Step 1
Download QuickSupport to your desktop or laptop.

Step 2
Click on the file "TeamViewerQS.exe" and launch the installation tool.

Step 3
Accept the license conditions. After that, you will see a unique ID and a corresponding password.

Step 4
To start a remote session, please provide the ID and the password to the IT-ServiceDesk employee you are in contact with.

After a successfull connection, your device's display will be transfered and the remote session can be started.

Once the connection is established, you will see the TeamViewer window on your screen. This means that the session is active and your device can be controlled remotely.

You can minimize the window by clicking on the arrow in the right corner. You can end the ssesion by clicking on the cross.
