In addition to specifying the retention periods for backups, the server plan establishes the connection between a client and the storage destination in the backend.
Due to load optimization and the distribution of backup uploads across the entire system, the available server plans may occasionally change. However, this is only relevant when configuring new clients and has no effect on clients that are already configured on other server plans.

If necessary, please do not change a client’s server plan without consulting the IT Center. To do so, send an email to (Send an email to:) servicedesk@itc.rwth-aachen.de with the subject Change Server Plan for Backup.
