General information

NOC- Portal

The NOC portal provides an overview of network self-service portals, such as DNS Admin, DHCP Admin, Firewall Form or Interface Admin, which the RWTH institutions can use to make or request changes to their own networks and domains.

The assignment of networks or domains to the RWTH institutions in the NOC portal takes is realized via groups. The RWTH institutions fill these groups with members, who then act as network contact persons for the assigned networks and domains.

Group members are added by the institution via IdM Role and Group Management.

Registered network contact persons are authorized for the following actions:

  • reporting a network fault
  • making changes to the assigned networks and domains
  • or request the changes if they cannot be made by the institutions themselves

Who is allowed to use the NOC portal?

The NOC portal may be used by registered network contact persons.

How can I access the NOC portal?

You can access the NOC portal via RWTH Single Sign-On.

Access to the NOC portal as well as all network self-service portals is only possible from the RWTH network.
