FAQ - Sources for information on IT Center systems
Since the latter is not always apparent to you as an end user, contact the IT-ServiceDesk and report the incident.

You can report incidents to the IT-ServiceDesk.
In order to help you efficiently, please include as much information as you can.
Information about technical malfunctions:
- Your user names, matriculation numbers, etc.
- Exactly which service is affected
- Description of the steps taken that led to the error
- Screenshots of error messages
- Information about the error environment (e.g.: URL of the website, server names, device names, premises, etc.)
In case of failures in teaching or studying (RWTHmoodle, RWTHonline)
- user names, matriculation numbers
- Course numbers
- Number of the Moodle learning room or the corresponding course in RWTHonline
- URL and links to e.g.: RWTHmoodle learning spaces, videos, etc.
Description of the steps performed that led to the error
Note: Please note that you should only ever communicate faults to us via one channel. If you use multiple contact channels at the same time, this may hinder the efficiency of handling your issue.
