Order Apple products
On this page you will learn how to order Apple products.
Requirements
Apple products are ordered under a framework agreement with the company thinkRED GmbH (opens in new tab). You can order the products from the thinkRED webshop (opens in new tab).
To place an order, you need the role Bestellung Apple. You can obtain this role from your role administrator. The data of new role holders is transferred to thinkRED GmbH every two weeks. If you are still unable to log in to the webshop after two weeks, please contact Philipp Schulz at thinkRED GmbH by email to find out when your role was added.
Logging in to the thinkRED webshop
Once your role has been transferred to thinkRED, you can log in to the thinkRED webshop (opens in new tab). Proceed as follows:
- Click User.
- Click Forgot password.
- Enter your email address.
This will create your webshop account and allows you to set a password.
Information on the ordering process
- RWTH Aachen University institutions can place orders independently for a net order value of up to EUR 10,000.
- For orders with a net order value of more than €10,000, the role cannot be used. In this case, the purchase must be made via a purchase requisition (BANF) (opens in new tab) through Department 7.3, Central Purchasing.
