General information

git.nrw [Pilotphase]

git.nrw is currently in pilot operation and the service is available to five NRW universities (Münster University, Köln University, TH Köln, Duisburg-Essen University, and RWTH Aachen University).
A step-by-step onboarding of the participating universities is planned. It can currently already be used by the universities mentioned above.

The service "git.nrw" offers universities in NRW free access to a central GitLab instance with features such as version control, issue tracking and CI/CD. This instance uses the “Ultimate Edition” license, which offers more extensive functionalities compared to the current GitLab instances.

The central NRW-wide GitLab instance "git.nrw" was set up as part of the "git.nrw" project. The git.nrw project is a cooperative project of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and is being jointly implemented by the five universities of Münster University, Cologne University, TH Cologne, Duisburg-Essen University and RWTH Aachen University.
