Important conditions concerning data storage in $WORK (Windows W: drive) and $HPCWORK directories
Because of the continuously rising daily data amounts in $WORK and $HPCWORK we are no longer able to back up that data.
This means, that all deleted data is lost permanently and can't be restored.
Besides that, some technical issues could lead to total data loss on this drive. Therefore it is strongly recommended, that data, you can not reproduce, is not stored in $WORK (W:) nor $HPCWORK.
Please note: Do not store any non reproducible or non recomputable data, like source code or input data on these file systems! |
