Teaching and Research Questionnaire (LuFF)

The teaching and research questionnaire documents the performance of the lecturers within Faculty 1 (Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences). In order to do justice to the entire spectrum of achievements, the Faculty wishes to reflect the outstanding work of all its professors in all facets.

The procedure is essentially based on an online questionnaire which is completed or updated by the professors once a year. With the corresponding answers, the development and performance of entire subject groups can then also be presented, as is required, for example, for the reports on the implementation of the Excellence Initiative.

The teaching and research questionnaire accumulates data from several sources: Course data from CAMPUS, information on publications by professors from the university bibliography, results of student evaluations from evaluated courses via EvaSys, and data on the doctorates taken by each lecturer from the database of the Central Examination Office. All data sources used here comply with data protection regulations: they are either public information (events, publications) or anonymised data (teaching evaluations, doctorates).
