You are located in service: RWTH High Performance Computing (Linux)

The following methods of connecting to one of the dialog systems of the RWTH High Performance Computing are available:

You will be asked for either your username and password (ab123456 and associated service password) or, if you have a public key file on the file system of the cluster and the corresponding private key file on the system used to access the cluster, for the password to this key pair. Currently, for all cluster login nodes except a Multi-Factor-Authentication (MFA) is not required. Please refer here if you want to test MFA.

The RWTH High Performance Computing is directly accessible only from the RWTH network and from other universities in North Rhine-Westphalia.
In the latter case your computer additionally needs a valid DNS entry in order to get access.
In all other cases you have to first establish a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection in order to get an RWTH network address.
