The frequency depends on the load factor of the scanner and the
results of the last scan. IP numbers with serious vulnerabilities are
more frequently scanned than IP numbers without vulnerabilities.
Currently (June 2015), the typical rate is between 16 and 28 days.
All IP numbers with an activation in the central firewall are being scanned, thus
e.g. externally accessible web servers or externally accessible FTP
or SSH servers.
It is possible, but currently still done by hand. We understand
that you want to find out whether the measures have
been successful in a timely manner. If it can be arranged with our work flow,
we will accommodate your wish.
The number is the arithmetic mean of the most recent scan results of all ca. 1600 IP numbers
scanned in the last weeks.
The project for the security-scan-page in the NOC portal is completed
except for improvements. We accept and collect wishes and improvement
suggestions. Presently, there are no statements on the implementation.
