Definition of a network contact person

Kurzinformation

A network contact person

  • is a person who is listed as a contact for a network or a domain
  • is allowed to report a network incident as well as apply for network changes, e.g. in case of firewall or DNS entries
  • is allowed to add or delete other network contact persons

Networks and domains are managed in NOC portal via groups. Network contact persons are listed as memebrs of these group. 

Network contact persons are managed via the IdM Role and Group Management. Owners of the role "Verwaltung Netzelemente" can create groups for their organisation. Owners of the role "Verwaltung Netzelemente" and "Verwaltung Gruppenmitglieder" can add and delete members to these groups.

Please note:

Network contact persons must be managed by the current network contact persons via the IdM Role and Group Management.
