You can access coscine by visiting https://coscine.rwth-aachen.de/. There you can log in via two different authentication services. You can find instructions for each of these services below.
A word of Advice: To avoid confusion and use both methods equally you should connect your accounts in your user profile. [Link]
- Navigate to the coscine homepage https://coscine.rwth-aachen.de/
- Click the “Login” button on the right side
- Select one of the two Login methods
- Proceed with the instructions for the login method you have selected
Login via ORCID
Researchers who already have an ORCID account can use this account to gain access to coscine.
This proves to be helpful for external project partners, as they can simply create an ORCID ID for themselves and do not have to go through institution-specific account validation measures.
After selecting the option “Sign in with ORCID” you will be redirected to https://orcid.org/signin.
Sign in with your ORCID credentials. After successful authentication, you will be redirected to the coscine dashboard. You are now signed in.
Login via Shibboleth
Shibboleth is another method of signing into coscine with an existing credentials.
After selecting the option “Sign in with Shibboleth” you will be redirected to the RWTH Sign Sign-On service.
Sign in with your RWTH credentials. After successful authentication, you will be redirected to the coscine dashboard. You are now signed in.
