As the node contact, you have received an e-mail request to enter the metadata for your archive node in the archive migration form provided. This metadata is mandatory for the archive migration. Without entering the metadata and corresponding assignment to research data (migration to Coscine-RDS) or non-research data (migration to DigitalArchive), migration cannot take place.

This metadata form also allows you to discard the archive node if you no longer have a need for the data and/or node. In this case, please click the "Knoten verwerfen" (meaning: Discard node) button at the bottom of the web form. The node will then not be migrated and will be deleted at the latest when the archive service is shut down.

Option 1: Inhalt lässt sich einem Forschungsvorhaben zuordnen (meaning: Content is directly related to a research project)

Please enter the following metadata:

• Project name (Projektname)
• Display name (Anzeigename)
• Project description (Projektbeschreibung)
• Principal Investigators/ Name of the project leader (Name des Projektverantwortlichen)
• Select project start (Projektstart)
• Select project end (Projektende)
• Select scientific scipline (Disziplin)
• Select participating organization

Note: The projectname field assigns a new name for the original node.

Option 2: Inhalt lässt sich eindeutig einer Lehrveranstaltung zuordnen (meaning: Content is directly related to a course or lecture)

Please enter the following metadata:

• Course (Lehveranstaltung)
• Node name (Knotenname)
• Institute code numer (IKZ/Institutskennziffer)
• Holding time (Haltedauer)
• A brief description of the archived content (Beschreibung des Inhalts)

Note: The Knotenname field assigns a new name for the original node.

Option 3: Inhalte sind aus der Verwaltung, gemischte oder sonstige Daten (meaning: Contents are from the administration, mixed or other data)

Please enter the following metadata:

• Node name (Knotenname)
• Institute code numer (IKZ/Institutskennziffer)
• Holding time (Haltedauer)
• A brief description of the archived content (Beschreibung des Inhalts)

Note: The Knotenname field assigns a new name for the original node.

When you have completely filled in the required form, you can use the "Speichern und Migrieren" (meaning: Save and migrate) button to migrate the archive node to the corresponding target system.
